The JV33-130 and JV33-160 have the same print head as the JV5 series which has 8 lines of 180 nozzles (total 1,440 nozzles). These print heads can increase print speeds by 30% over the previous JV3 series.

A symmetric ink arrangement (MCYKKYCM) and newly developed 16 bit rendering function of the standard RIP, allows for enhanced print quality. In addition to pre-print heaters, a post heater has been added to speed drying time of ink on media allowing for faster uptake of the printed media. The JV33 series is also equipped with an UISS (uninterrupted ink supply system) for use during 4-print mode.

In summary the JV33 has been developed to build on the JV3 pedigree with improvements in productivity, ease of use, and quality.
